Description: This layer represents contour elevation lines as of the spring of 2017. The contours are derived from LiDAR data, collected in the winter of 2017/2018. Contours were generated using Global Mapper, sample spacing used to create the contours is consistent with the Nominal Point Spacing (NPS), of the source LiDAR dataset from which it was derived. Lines were automatically smoothed while being generated by Global Mapper.Important: The LiDAR data was created using UTM zone 14N and was projected in Central Texas State Plane (NAD 83) FIPS 4203.For countour type:1 = Minor Contour2 = Intermediate Contour3 = Major Contour

Description: This layer represents contour elevation lines as of the spring of 2012. The contours are derived from LiDAR data, collected in the spring of 2012.Important: The "special" contours (CONTOUR_TYPE = 2), are known to intersect in some places with other contours. This is a data quality issue and should be taken into consideration before using the data for any analytical or reference purpose.

Description: Impervious cover data hand-digitized from early 2019 aerial imagery. This dataset is used to calculate the total amount of impervious cover on each parcel for the Watershed Protection Department's drainage utility billing.
Description: The City of Austin through the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) contracted the Sanborn Map Company, Inc. to update the City of Austin's planimetric database. The City of Austin's existing data was updated by Sanborn using digital imagery acquired in Spring 2006 using photogrammetric techniques. The data is provided in ESRI personal geodatabase format.

Description: Impervious and other unnatural land cover hand-digitized from aerial imagery. The latest updates were sourced from early 2019 aerial imagery. This dataset is used to for calculating Watershed Protection Department's Drainage Charge, conducting wildfire analysis, emergency operation incident planning, tracking transportation assets, and much more. The data is updated every 2 years and each update is provided as a separate dataset.
